On March 3, 2012, we will all be cheering on our own horses at the races right here in Bardstown, Kentucky! Montessori’s Night at the Races is “off and running” as the plans are in place for a fantastic fundraising gala event to be held at Kreso’s Restaurant. This event will benefit the St. Joseph Montessori Children’s Center.
The evening will begin with cocktails and entertainment while you have the chance to bid on over 150 silent auction items.
At 7:00, a delicious sit down three course dinner will be served. And then
we're off to the races! We will enjoy 4 pre-recorded horse races on the BIG SCREEN to make us feel like we’re really at the track. What a perfect kick off to the Spring seasons at Keeneland and Churchill Downs!
And to make it even more exciting, 48 of our guests will have the opportunity to own a racehorse for only $30! You can name your own horse and that along with the owner’s name will be featured in our racing program for all. For example, you can buy and name a racehorse for each of your children. Horse owners will also receive special recognition and privileges. And the owners of the winning race horse in each race will receive prizes! We will also be featuring actual wagering on the races so come and try your luck!

In addition to this excitement, we will have a WONDERFUL silent auction! You may leave with tickets to Walt Disney World, a vacation home, tickets to fun places and events and much much more. We will also have a children’s art auction featuring collaborative art pieces made by the children of St. Joseph Montessori, and more that would make treasured keepsakes. There’s too many wonderful details of the event to list, you’ll just have to be there to see it and experience the “Thrill of it All”. It is going to be a top class, fun filled evening that you won’t want to miss!
It will be TONS of fun!! Hope to see you there!

We hope that you’ll be able to make it to this fun and exciting event. If you are able to join us on March 3rd, please click here to download the Response Card and send in your reservation TODAY!

Additional Helpful Information:
*Attire suggestions*: “Finest Derby Duds" - in other words, wear what you might wear to a Derby Party or to a fun day at the races at Keeneland or Churchill Downs. Ladies-feel free to wear a cute new spring party dress. Hats are OK too. Gentlemen-feel free to wear a sport coat or collared shirt, or a coat and tie is absolutely appropriate as well, but not required. Just be sure to bring your lucky charm so that you can win big at the betting booths!
* Financials*: Be sure to bring your cash for betting and your checkbook for the incredible auction items that you’ll be leaving with the night of the event! Remember, it’s for a good cause--our beloved St. Joseph Montessori Children’s Center!
